Re: Ralph Saxelby piston choice.....?

Me and Ralf nearly pissed ourselves when it was actually published! that one advert got even more calls than the RS250 advert, not even the de-tour exhaust came close! He's still got the originals.. when I was up there a while ago, he pulled them out for another good laugh. We could barely speak fo...

Re: The end of the Lambretta crank as we know it ???

The fact that Edmonds is anywhere near is amazing, but to win outright is a remarkable achievement. The fact that Ralph is old enough to be Charlie's dad, only rides now and then, and is on a bike built over fifteen years ago is nothing to do with it then? I'd expect half the pack to be ahead of Ra...

Re: The end of the Lambretta crank as we know it ???

Tony . . . I'd suggest that things may not have moved on all that much because lap times in DJ's day are not all that different from now. What does show here is that there's more than one way to skin a monkey, with wildly different tuning strategies providing similar results. Slightly faster, actua...

If you could get £400 for one, it would certainly help the price of a new one nearer to £450.

Some people will pay anything.. to have something that you can't buy.

Re: Help. Trying to setup sprocketing for a 190.

My 185 runs with 16x46. It's about right. It's a 'bit' high in top if you come to a big hill. But it's no effort to knock it down to third and rev its tits off to the top of the hill.
If I was two up, I'd probably never get it into top :)
