Re: Re: 12V DC CONVERSION - HOW TO
I have been well happy with my wassell conversion, even fitted a couple of others to friends Scoots . Now want to use one on my Lambretta chopper , can i use this instead of the branded "wassell unit "? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Wire-Full-Wave-Motorcycle-Regulator-Rectifier-12V-DC-Bike...

Re: Uni rear hub cone
Hi all, Bought a uni rear hub few months ago, went to fit it today and think the supplied cone is incorrect. The shaft splines are about 5mm inside the keyways so only half way through the hub. What cone should I get?? Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk With pic this time https://uploads.tapatalk-...

Re: Standard series 3 TV175 squish......
1.5 packer but 1.0 has been removed from the casing so it's the same as having a standard gasket on a standard case. Port timing comes into play here if adjusting the base thickness. No head gasket used. Depends who you speak to, stickys says 1.2 - 1.5 that's from MB I believe, others say max 1.75. ...

Re: Standard series 3 TV175 squish......
Closure... Port timing was good and after speaking with few tuners appears head is bit of a known issue. Got it down to 1.7mm after a quick skim

Re: Chain tension and scootopia chain
Cheers Adam, went with a bit of play and will check after a while. I used the old chain as it's not really worn but unknown to me. The scootopia chain was very tight, I had difficulty to install the clutch. Maybe just a bad one. Sprockets are the right combination btw Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapa...

Chain tension and scootopia chain
Stickys says 6mm up and down movement,. Is it 6mm up and 6mm down giving a total movement of 12mm or a total of 6mm as it can be taken both ways. Next. I have a new scootopia chain and it's extremely tight so much so I took it off and put in the older Regina chain. Anyone else experienced that with...

Re: Anyone burn carbon out of two cycle mufflers?
You get the same result by plugging one end and pouring in some industrial cleaner or caustic soda and leaving it to soak for a while. I used industrial cleaner overnight to break down the oil and then all the carbon comes out at the same time. Looks new inside Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk

Standard series 3 TV175 squish......
Hi all, I have the same Q on FB but maybe targeting a different audience here. I looked in stickys but didn't see anything. Anyone know the standard squish on a TV175? I had the case machined to remove some damage on the base gasket face and supposedly 1mm was removed. If I use a 1.5 base packer or ...
