Re: Best visual reference foe Api series 2
when I was building mine I just searched the interweb and came up with plenty of pictures of interest especially the ones from India I opted not to do mine as straight API using f/g Italian style panels, Winter model mudguard, horncasting extensions etc - mine is a true bitsa which I love. We drink...

API series 2 question
Im stripping down a api series 2 and have tried 2 sets of legshields but both are a good half inch from the tops of the front strut. I have had a look at the weld around the front struts and whilst not super neat they do look factory. Did series 2,s have a bigger rubber spacer or is it just a case o...

Re: New british made engine case
The focus is to get the standard cases delivered before working on the big 330's. The 330's are based off a CR250 crank and JS650 piston. They will use Aprilia RS125 ignitions, nothing else (these are the best choice, trust me on it). The 330 kit will be iron lined and cost about £600 ish. To cope ...

Re: Bgm dampers on turning mudguard
I think your right, as mines a rat i can sort of bend it a bit.... :D. Cant really do that with a nice paint job mind. I have seen one where the mudguard has a bit let out, like a long rounded bulge wher the damper sits. Bit of work but would allow you access. And looks a bit trick. Think it may hav...

Re: Bgm dampers on turning mudguard
Interesting as I'll soon be doing the same. Hopefully you can do all the trial and error so I can just copy  Joking aside, if the top bolt went in from the inside I reckon that might work. We'd have to cut a bolt to the right length plus only about 1mm. The outer hole in the top damper mount ...

Bgm dampers on turning mudguard
I have a ratty series 2 with turning mudguard. I want to replace the dampers with BGM,s, but it's apparent I'm going to have to drop the forks to do it. Question I have is, is there a way to set it up for the future where you can do it without dropping the forks?
