yes, i tried this as well....but without success.
after every 10th kick i just got a explosion out of the carb.
i also injected some petrol through the inlet manifold and spark plug hole with a syringe...just a cough and a bit of smoke through the exhaust....better than nothing, i know.....

my mk1 have 2 adjusters in the top. one for the throttle slide the other for the air valve.
but i´ve seen many pics using only one cable. what they did to the air valve?
without the cable the air valve slide is at it´s lowest position and blocks the induction pipe.

i worked on a brand new SIL200 engine today. everything ok so far. the only thing that mades me wonder was as i checked the gap between the endplate and the shim. shim (2,7mm!!!) is loose but i tried to messure the gap with a feeler gauge which starts with a 0,05mm stripe.....i "feel" no d...

more ideas? i guess i need a 1:1 crankshaft drive and an 1:1 rev counter. ...or possibly the combination of a 2:1 drive with 1:2 rev counter? but i only found rev counters with 3:1, 4:1, 5:1, 7:1 ratios and 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 crank drives. did any know what is the right combination to look out for? ch...

yepp, it´s the 2stroke version. ...and needle JET is 107 :oops: what about the main jet? they jets are not so easy to get hold of here in germany. although i think the jets are the same as the ones from the mk2!? i only have a 200, 210, 220 and a 230 main jet....do i have a chance with these :D ......
