Re: Jetting
if you haven't already fitted an auto advance , now might be the time to consider it . ;) At 8000 rpm it would over-advanced at a static 17 degrees . According to Webster and Broadhurst you would probably be needing as little as 14-15 degrees advance at 8-9000rpm https://www.mbscooters.co.uk/info/mb...

Re: Still getting vibration on TS1 225
yes I can see that you don't give 2x figs ...........that is why you went to all the trouble of posting to tell me ! Your 'advice' is worthless as you clearly have no understanding of gearboxes or gear shifting ... you can't even spell worth a damn either. If you are going to respond to other member...

Re: Still getting vibration on TS1 225
You really should use your clutch otherwise you are going to break something. 100% agree with you if don't use the clutch you'll eventually wreck the gearbox and if you've spent this long trying to solve the problem you'll only regret it later when you'll be spending out on the gearbox. your name i...

You really should use your clutch otherwise you are going to break something. appreciate your caution but there is no chance of breaking anything .....if you have a thorough understanding of how gearboxes work you'll understand clutchless gear changes they do it all the time in racing . ;) Its not ...

Re: Mag flange
what ignition advance did you set ? depending on the current advance, you might pick up some high rpm power by retarding the ignition slightly although that would probably reduce low down power a bit but that doesn't sound like it would be an issue lol Let us know how it goes good luck

Re: Mag flange
very unlikely i would say but we really need a lot more information about your setup ........carb, atomiser jets, inlet manifold, exhaust , , stator points gap / elctronic stator ignition advance , gearbox etc etc . I just spent months sorting out my scoot which involved removing and replacing my to...

Re: TV2 electrics
yes as grumpy says when there is an ignition issue an additional condenser is often fixed outside the flywheel cowling in parallel with the stator condenser to test if the original stator condenser is faulty. if the scooter then starts and runs better then you know for certain that the original cond...
