Why not buy a Sil crank and have a Yam 110 rod put in, with a good bearing and a nice tight pin done buy somone who knows what there doing, ive a full circle race jobby in mine but if i were doing it again thats the way i,d go, also use a light,nd flywheel to give it a easy,r life. Took the MEC crank to a crank builder today and he said the reason it has twisted so bad is to do with the web area being so thin due to the thickness of the conrod!!!!A thick strong conrod is a good thing for strength but this is at the expense of thinner webs having less area to grip the pin hence...

I HAVE JUST REMOVED THE CRANK TODAY AND AFTER CHECKING ALIGNMENT DISCOVERED IT WAS RUNNING OUT 0.30mm. the crank looks in good new condition and little miles on it although the piston had a few minor scuffs!!!!!!!! I,m trying to identify a crank in a new engine i,ve aquired!!!!
its got black webs and the conrod is marked MEC so is this a mecure crank?????

Try running it with the air hose disconnected from the frame!!!
certain seats sit to close to the air hole in front of the petrol tank and this can cause air starvation!!!!

Its just a thought i,ve seen this happen a few times.
