Same here, I just remove the centre of the valve and it goes in really easy, far easier than putting it in tubes

Re: 185 kit for li125 s3

This question gets asked several times a week and you will get the same responses. All depends on what you want out of the kit and what your budget is, plenty of good kits out there; GT, Mugello, Casa, RT, Imola, RB and some cheaper alloy kits. It's not just about the kit either, you also need to co...

Re: Ideas please.

Has the ring peg issue on the small block RT kits been resolved? I've seen that on a couple of large block motors but not on a small block. Do you have any links to ring pin failures for the Rt195? Thread on here about it, also I know 4 people who have had the problem, 1 of the guys had it on his 1...

Re: Ideas please.

All a matter of opinions and I doubt any of the posters have experience of all the kits and options on offer. I have experience of 175 conversions, GT186 and Mugello 186. Of those 3, GT by a country mile. Just thinking out loud, a GT186 , Mikuni TM24, and a generic Clubman (Scootopia?) or a standar...

At least when it seizes it can be rebored.
From what i have seen and read on here it looks a very good cylinder option for the small block.

Re: Scootopia mounts.

I did my longest run so far today, around 140 miles, on the Eibar fitted with Scootopia mounts (GT186) and I found the vibration to be fine (for Lambretta). They seemed worst at around 40-50mph but smoothed out when up to dual carriageway speed

Re: Engine Mounts

I use an extended one on the sidecar because of the extra stress cornering, BGM one did not last long. I use BGM ones on the solo without any problems avoid Scootopia ones they are hard and cause vibration. I've got the scootopia mounts in my Eibar and I don't find them that bad to be honest, but I...
