I've had it about 4 years, I'm pretty sure it was probably imported and restored in the UK in 2004. I'll contact the dealer I got it from and see if he's got any info, he took it in part ex for a TV175 apparently.

Cheers for the info Doom, that'll explain why it's a UK spec then. I'd quite like to know where it was restored as it's a pretty good job, I took this pic a couple of years ago.

I was wondering if anyone knows any history about my Ochre GP200? It's a UK spec with battery but was imported from Denmark and restored around 2004 and the MOT history indicates it spent some of it's time around Sheffield. Reg is TUJ221H. As previously mentioned, soften it up by putting it in mug of boiling water, the water might cool quickly so throw it away and pour in some more, should go on easily.

Just question why you want 16.5 litre, you will lose the toolbox. Mine is 11.5 with two cut outs. I ride with mates with standard tanks so i’m always waiting around for them....bought mine from justlambretta. You can get one with a toolbox cutout but no carb cutouts, may not be 16.5l but still more...

Been trying to find a left cut out 16.5L Saigon long range mild steel tank. Have messaged Saigon direct a few times without reply, so I started ringing round UK dealers. Seems nobody has any in stock. Have been told by one dealer that they have non cut out 16.5L tanks in stock that they had made to...

The Casa ones seem to work just fine imo. I bought the Case exhaust and was not impressed with the poor welding around the tailpipe and generally not great quality imo. I returned it a bought the Tutto exhaust which was more expensive but built to last. I've done a few miles on it so far (not many)...
