I've got a v1 bgm stator and matching flywheel on a jet200. My headlight is way too dim. I measured out put from stator to regulator and it is 6-7v at 1200 rpm and 10-11v when I'm revving it. Picked it up today. Came with a load of body pieces off a jet200. It's in pretty good shape considering it was last on the road in '79.

Sorted. The choke jet (60) is too lean. If I wound out the mix screw past 4 times it would almost catch. So I went with a 50-120 idle jet. Fat but doesn't impact the main jet much. I have mix screw turned out 3 times. Starts first kick on cold. It's raining too hard to check the rest of the throttle...

Cleaned carb and jets. Choke jet is a 60. Issue still there. I swapped out the carb with a 24/24, standard jets, 128 main. Same cold start issue but otherwise ran fine. The choke lever works as it should. I'm going to double check the timing (should be 19). It's got a new bgm stator, spark is strong...
