Re: scitsu rev counter mounting ?
I just made a small L shaped bracket which hangs down from the top horn cast screw. Stuck a bit of rubber on the back for vibration and to protect the paint, seems to work ok. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8001/7489439434_f445695a0d_b.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7250/7489425142_7cf358bbaf_b.jp...

Re: New RB Ceramic 230cc Engine
Its possible with some of the group 6 scooters, over 100mph has been seen more then a few times, and as Eden pointed out the drag on a full frame is quite considerable. I know Stiky's bike engined scooter does high end of 30hp and I think that gets to around 96mph (a real 96mph). PM tuning's full f...

Re: New RB Ceramic 230cc Engine
About 33bhp on a good day, so you have a chance of some fast speeds/times ChiselSpeed RB 240 - link to dyno . full bodied, all steel, fan cooled, ADS pipe, normal road going scoot...if you can afford the juice...(about 16 lamp posts to a tank of fuel  ). I am a skinny little greck, but it depen...

Re: New RB Ceramic 230cc Engine
I think your estimates of speed are about right, bit faster on the speeds maybe... in good conditions. Look forward to seeing one of Darrel's motors on the strip one day, with this sort of power they could set some good times. The best I've seen is 96mph out of my RB on the 1/4 mile, peaks at 8500, ...

Re: FOXHAT 260's
Tyre pressures also make a big difference, wheel bearings and everything else have to be spot on. I worked it out once a 3:50 wheel at 90mph is rotating at something ridiculous like 3000rpm where as a motobike wheel is rotating at no where near that rpm at the same speed.

Re: Re: FOXHAT 260's
I think all this talk about 85 in 3rd possible 98 in 4th is all academic ,I think anything over 80 on what is basically a 50yr. old commuter bike is fuxxing scary, I do like to ride my TS1 quickly, but at these sort of speeds I tend to think....what if ? I think its all about good acceleration and ...
