Re: Antidive upgrade scootRs brake.

Many of the mods (and rose joints) are ugly and rely upon the nightmare of reversing fork links too, all to handle surprisingly small movements in a slightly different way. But we want a ScootRS kit to be easy, functional and beautiful. To date there has only been very positive feedback from actual ...

Re: New ScootRS Vespa disc brake conversion

i am glad i changed to a beed speed hub assembly now after those piccies But those photos are the sand cast Beedspeed - Spaq kit that came apart , not a ScootRS kit. It is a nightmare being associated with every Spaq/Sterling item that has a problem just because we're in Vietnam. We'd ask people to...

Lambretta inboard disc brake kit for drum links

As original but updated, and the only high pressure cast one available. The unique feature of this version is we have cast the back plate to use common drum links ! No longer do you need to find and buy expensive disc links. Everything else is as original. $259 (or today in pounds ...) http://scootr...

Re: Familiar with this disk brake?

If it is from Beedspeed then it is unlikely to be a ScootRS one because I believe they fell out (can't imagine how that might happen ;) ) Again? Why a "journalist" like Sticky constantly puts out petty lies and false rumours about companies is baffling. You never know anymore if what Stic...

Re: Dampers Snapping Studs??

Soulsurfer and others, I hope you can see that we've said the same as MBD just said about "Chinese whispers" and misinformation and reading the forum or reporting a problem, after we've only had 1 single email about 1 genuine valve problem in 4 years of selling our tubeless rims. We can't ...

Re: Dampers Snapping Studs??

Has nothing to do with us and we've never seen it. We only mentioned it as a perfect example of Sticky's approach. Anyway leave that aside.

Been on the forum for 5 months:

Re: ScootRS stamped side panels--Direct experience

Your returns policy is comical, Probably our fault too some if anyone's reading skills are (deliberately) comical? ;) As everyone knows, "Returns" are when people return a normal item (changed mind, ordered wrong, etc.). Unlike most places we don't charge an expensive re-stocking fee, but...

Re: inboard disc caliper

I'm sure that's a good one, but can you explain why you think some differ? I can't see how the piston being smaller or larger by a mm or 2 would make any difference.

I'd think the MC had much more affect on performance and would depend one's setup, semi/full, no?
