Could it ne that a full cowling is better for town riding with the "semi" cowling being better for the long hauls ??

Engine mount bar
I'm hoping to fit a gp engine in a LD frame. To make things easier i'm trying to source the frame tube that holds the cones. Does anyone know where these can be purchased or is there an alternative way of mounting the engine.
