there does seem to be a trend of going back to Lambretta "roots" i.e. keep standard but efficient. Messrs Innocenti did know one or two things after all.

assuming its still got the muggie kit on it- what are you going to do with it? I've got a complete top end (cylinder; head; piston carb inlet; Dellorto 20mm carb etc for a TV175 s3) plus an original S3 IGM marked exhaust. Swap?

Evening All, Planning to try a 22mm carb on my LIS150 in the not too distant future. Question is, do I need to fit an inlet manifold gasket, or can I get away with using gasket sealant? Also, if a gasket is recommended, is it OK to buy gasket paper and make my own? Sorry if it sounds a dumb questio...

use a cereal box- grease up the end of the inlet manifold and press down. Cut round the ungreased areas.

it would appear that the odd key was OK to lock but not unlock...... you have 2 options (well 3 actually but..):- 1) get hold of the correct key and hope its OK 2) remove the headset top and take out the whole lock (not a hard job) or.... 3) you can force the lock and break it (and risk damaging the...

heres one I did earlier- this has 3 holes near the base of the piston on the exhaust side. When the piston is travelling up and down the holes do not enter the exhaust area.Image
