Good luck.

Re: Help!

occasionally when an engine is rebuilt, the manifold studs are too long. When the engine is put back in there is no problem, until your scenario arises. Can you get clear of one of the studs? If so you may be able to gently ease the offending one forward till the second stud clears. Alternatively tr...

Re: 2 / 3 hole engine mount

thats a good point re fitting a 3 hole to one side and a 2 hole to the other- never thought about that before. As they are inherently different (2 hole and 3 hole) then their characteristics are going to be different. I would imagine that one would take more "punishment" than the other? an...

fuel lasts longer than 4 weeks or so- my TV is sorned at the moment and has fuel in it over 6 months old. Still starts and runs perfectly. Your fault may lie elsewhere.

Re: AGE RELATED PLATE

Ian- is actually on DVLA records? DVLA was set up early 1980's and a load of old numbers aren't on the 'new" records and aren't transferable anyway. If it IS on DVLA and IS transferable, the seller will have to sort it out. IF its successful the vehicle will get a non transferable plate from DV...

Re: Rear hub removal

no- not the actual casing. Spin the hub and gently hit it with the rubber mallet from the casing side. You will of course have undone the hub nut first won't you......

You can leave the actual rear wheel bolted up. Make sure its inflated hard and hit the tyre from the K/S side as you spin it.
