One thing i never disclosed in the articles on the secrets of the sprinter and it may be just that i forgot was about cryogenic freezing. Originally we did it with the gear box and yes it stopped it breaking teeth . The thing is we did it to the whole engine piston crank the lot everything that move...

Yes polishing may look pretty but isnt needed and can weaken. Thers was a few hours work in that piston which was a nightmare as they were changed every 25 miles or there abouts.

This was a wiseco we used in the sprinter less weight more revs less strain on the conrod. Needs to be balanced and dont take any weight out of the critical areas.

Supplied an RB two years ago to do the best suporting member for the LCGB. Comming back this week for its yearly service ,as he has to log all the miles for the championship we know milage is accurate and its just completed 12,000 miles. Your forgeting one important thing there crap. I was offered them on many occasions by various suppliers from India and the mark up was good but i knew the quality off them was poor so i would be ripping off the customer by selling them. Just the bare cases on their own is a different thing all toge...

Yep i was one of those responsible for thrashing those test kits infact kit number one,its still going stong 4500 miles later as we log all the miles it does. As for its condition well fine is the answer. I agree with you they are great kits and give you an adrenalin rush everytime you take it out. ...
