Re: in one end out the other!

I have been running a 24mm mikuni on my 225 rapido and on runs i would get 54mpg, now going RT255 and 28mm power jet keihin but with 18-46 and Li150 so high gearing should give me the same mpg, cruising at 80mph should only be 4000rpm ;) ;) Mazz (not sure if he is on here) was getting high 20...

Re: Complete Spanners Manual - corrections please

The 1st edition is very clear on how to disemble and reassemble a series 3. It even has some detail on tuning and handlig upgrades. What I'd like advice on is preventing some knob bolting bloody chrome pipework to it!Anything on this in the new edition? Seconded! A center-spread health warnin...

Won't you also need a series 2 side casing? Or extend the bit that rests on the rubber stop?
Yes: extended by approx 50mm to reach the rubber stop: easy weld job, but better done on an old lever/b4 choromin' ;)

Re: one for mr blythe ?

Can 2 or 3 of these find their way round eg. a Chiselspeed (short) manifold and a VHSB?
