Re: Comfy seat
i have a gel pad that I used for Davos. Not bad and about a quarter of the price of an air hawk. 340 miles was the longest ride, about 9 hours, and whilst not 'comfortable', it was bearable. Having said that I will be getting an air hawk to try. One of our party had an air hawk and he was of the sam...

Re: Comfy seat pad?
I have the gel type and for the money its not bad. Used it for the first time to Whitby and back: nearly 600 miles and although the numbness still occurred it didn't occur quite as quickly!

Slight carbon build up on piston crown and in cylinder head but nothing really to speak of after nearl...

Re: Advice on using choke to stop heat seize on long ride
If i'm on a motorway and cruising for any length of time at high speed I always roll the throttle on and off so as to flood the engine with more fuel therefore aiding cooling. Not blown up my engine yet after 5 - 6000 miles ! I also ride covering the clutch even though its a nicasil lined barrel. I ...

I had the same problem; BGM stator and NGK plugs.
Changed to Champion and have not had a problem since. Had the same plug in scooter for over 1100 miles now.
