Hi Andy. I'm not familiar with the BGM cylinder kit but if it needs a 135 main jet to run right, it's in a higher state of tune than a malossi 172. It should be quicker. I've a feeling the bgm big box might not rev enough but has boosted your low down torque. If the scooter is reving out the same in 4th as in 3rd then the exhaust might be the problem. I think it'll pull a 22 tooth clutch with that set up which would give an extra 5% ish top spe...

Casatronic has been very reliable for me. Positives are reliability, easy starting, quality feel. Negatives are the flywheel holder could be stronger and in my case, brake light on at low revs means very poor headlight. led rear is essential!

I've often wondered do a gas and liquid flow in the same way? Maybe traditional tuning makes a mistake by assuming they do? Matching openings and removing edges which obstruct a pathway definately helps a liquid flow along that pathway better. Smooth edges are good for liquid flow. I'd love to see a...

A slight bend of the hook part will stop it popping out. When finished just make sure the slide closes fully.

Not my bag but if the guy's a scooterist like the rest of us and wouldn't have a problem ferrying a brother down down to services/rally/ferry port then I say good on 'em! I wouldn't be too proud to load my broken scoot into the back.............but only if I thought it was 100% unfixable roadside.

Polini, gianelli and simonini are grand exhausts. If the sound is your main priority then you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to upjet the carb.
