don’t fit a 3mm base packer instead possibly a 1mm to 2mm thick base gasket and add up to 3mm to the top of the barrel wouldn’t that adjust the transfer and exhaust port timings on your ts1 possibly a workaround for the 64x110 gt crank; the 110 rod will lift the piston at bdc 3mm from the crankcase ...

That is a big tansfer timing with a short duration exhaust port.

what is the inlet port timing in degrees and piston clearance on yours; i had trouble starting an ex race barrel that had been fitted to a mates road scooter from cold; warmed up it was fine. when I took it apart and measured up the Inlet timing was 165 degrees; piston clearance a little over 4 thou...

i used a relay which turns a pathfinder spotlight on with the main beam on Dazzle; it tuns off on dipped beam and keeps the wiring mostly standard

jettex has a float bowl gasket that dellorto does not have; some of the Jettex float bowl gaskets are slightly too big and can catch on the float ive seen it on a couple

You can leave the front hub on in situ, but you need to loosen all four wheel nuts, remove two completely and position the rim so the missing nuts are in line with the calliper make sure the remaining two are just a couple of threads on, This will give you enough room to remove the calliper bolts an...

Sometimes the float bowl gasket catches on the float and stops it moving freely happened to mine on my old Indian GP
