Re: What is wrong with people?
I feel your pain. But, as you say, it is the same everywhere. I wish it wasn't so, because I enjoy the forums. Not so much now, obviously. I don't think it's entirely down to FB, but it does mirror the way a lot of people think. I think there is also a general lethargy in the scooter world. We are m...

Re: do Li seats fit on a gp ok
Had to be really.
It's a nice find. As interesting in its way as a top model, if you ask me.

Cut the top brackets off and replace with the clamp on BGM brackets. You can position them where you want then.

Re: Lloydie's S2 (slow) restoration
Yes, you're right. I've never thought it was the best idea, but the horncast rubber is just pushed into place and is used for the mudguard too. You might have been given the kit for a S3, but it's difficult to tell unless it's labelled as such. I know it comes in reels and I think dealers might just...

Re: SCOOTOPIA 185 KIT, ANY GOOD ?
It looks the same as a Casa kit to me. I imagine it performs much the same too.

Re: Fascinating article on standard exhaust performance
How much do they throttle any engine at above 5000 revs though? Presumably if you do all your riding below 50mph, it'd be fine. But who does that? Maybe, but how much would you notice that in practice? It depends on your gearing for one thing. The thing is you've got to go over 5000 to get some pip...

Re: Fascinating article on standard exhaust performance
I really rate the standard exhaust. There's just something about them. They just make your scooter so much more flexible. They are quieter and more manageable and just make you scooter so much nicer to ride. Innocenti really had it worked out if you ask me. But perhaps the best thing about them is t...
