Any "reputable" engineer would only write a report for you if they were absolutely sure it was a 125 otherwise it could be classed as fraudulent. Insurance companies must be made aware of ANY changes to the CC of a vehicle otherwise they will void the insurance in the event of a claim.

That is not correct if it is over 40 years old so for example, early Indian SIL GP's (75/6 - 78) and API S2's etc do not require an MOT.

DVLA do not issue NOVA, they are issued by HMRC.

Yes it does have to have an MOT as I have done this myself.
