Re: Anyone try 3D printing this hard to find part?
Late here but I have one of those boxes off of an early serveta. I think 3D printing might be a little weak since it's normally made out of plastic. The switch is super common but I know what you mean, the box is hard to find.

Re: RB20 fit
Thanks for the input. It’s crazy that on one kit there’s no problem but there is on the other with the same studs. I’ll see about finding some scootopia studs and at least start there.

I’m doing the initial dry build to set the port timings with the new 115/60 cranks. It looks like the upper kick side stud hole might be a hair off where it should b...

Re: Ignition systems
I haven't set up a Vape yet but will soon. Very few problems with any that you've listed. Most problems I've found were from user error in install due to poor grounds and bad crimps on the connectors. Be interesting to know your opinion on the vape one. The scootronics one is an option as not heard...

Re: Stainless or plated fixings?
Yes always lube stainless. SS has a high friction value and it’s always good to put anti seize on dissimilar metals (and similar). There is a great paper floating around the Internet on mechanical fasteners written by NASA. It goes in to detail on all types of metal fasteners and why they are good/b...

Yep, all or nothing.Doom Patrol wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:34 pm Hmmm... I have used stainless in the past for certain items where it would seem to make sense. But I've never gone overboard for it to the extent that I would fit out an entire scooter with it. Maybe that's the key.
