Re: vespa engine vnt1

Sounds like you need a fully spline'd kick start quadrant which were common on most VNA and early VNB motors. It shouldn't be that hard to track one down a used one as it's pretty common for people to switch it out for the later style 1/4 spline'd type that aren't know for stripping as easily as the...

Re: Best conversion forks????

An up rated spring (SIP, Stoffi's or even ScootRS) and good dampener (the adjustable BGM one is nice) will make an old sprint ride a lot nicer up front and won't cost too much cash or be all that much labor. As far as conversion forks go, the PK is the one you want as it's not that hard to make a sp...

Re: Replacement Monza piston

the 70mm piston out of a Kx250 works when you use a Yamaha out board rod that 116mm long with a 18mm pin. The rod needs work to fit into the webs but if your friend has someone who's able to sleeve a barrel for him I'm sure getting the rod narrowed to fit the webs isn't that big of a deal.

Re: SS 180 and Rally 180 Flywheel stator question.

Scooter Center knows their s**t for the most part, I would trust the info. If you are really worried why not just get a hold of Paolo or Peter and see if one of them have a spare flywheel to test on your crank taper? It seems like your biggest problem is that you will need a P/late rally stator and ...

Re: SMALLFRAMES repair panels/sections

one of the german vespa shops bought most of the smallframe bodywork stock recently found in India, most bodypressings looked to be available, off seventies smallframes (i think they called it a PV100 over there , or something like that). try ScooterCenter, RollerZentrall, SIP, etc. The model was a...
