I think the fella is taking the p155! He's already said the case is going in the bin. Or am I reading this wrong ? Ally weld repair?pics of damage.
Had a chain guide bolt make a bid for freedom and did some damage to the casing. Done about 9000miles and what I remember it was putting out approx 12bhp

Still going strong on same standard piston. Did ride it up to Ripon for another dyno run a few years back but whilst on dyno my stator came loose and got damaged along with the flywheel. Can still hit 70mph and sits comfortably at 60mph with a JL3/28phbh Italian Li150 gears (5.21). Can`t thank Mick,...

Top the oil up again then check the oil in a couple of weeks or 50-100miles to see if its still losing any. Thats what I would do before even thinking about stripping it.

In my very limited knowledge,I would of thought you`d need to check your port timings first as it might need the base skimming( probably talking out of my ar5e again). I would certainly give Mick a call before you touch it and seek his advice.
