Re: Vespa Malossi 210 - 35.19 bhp

Medium compression and Tesco 99; have on order some inserts to take the barrel to a race tune. You can see from the Bmep's that the engine isn't maximised yet so hopefully I will be able to overlay the three curves on one graph. Aim is to achieve road/fast road/ race depending on what I'm using it f...

Re: Vespa Malossi 210 - 35.19 bhp

That's a toroidal head, used a lot in other applications. Difficult to do unless cnc hence your program pic; did a Lammy engine recently but the owner wimped out and likely would have benefited.
Mucking about with twin spark theory and diesel; not in this engine but next project which is taking shape.

Re: Vespa Malossi 210 - 35.19 bhp

What's your bikes full setup then mattsdad ? Great results ther fella :-) Thank you. Its just my road engine shown on the other thread; just raised the barrel a bit and got a blank head from SIP. Some combustion experiments I wanted to try out and Martin @ Chiselspeed has done a fantastic job milli...

Re: Vespa Malossi 210 - 35.19 bhp

Was raining Dave, you know I ride like a girl so was scared.
If you're not hardcore rallying and I finish the race engine, I'll bob over at weekend to do a swap with this one and max the 50 out for you at 35mph:)

Re: who would build the following t5/ts1 conversion

I don't post often but I thought I should chip in as the graph was mentioned and a couple of comments on this and the dyno thread. TS1 barrel on top is a brilliant idea because its different and has worked well for years; I'm working on an Aprillia RS mimic to a Malossi 210 because its something to ...

Re: exhaust Wrap...

DO NOT wrap the first quarter of your pipe from the barrel, this is where you heat slug is and you will nip it up. this was my main worry when considering to do this. Can you give any more info on why you leave the first 1/4 bare Ta Because we use expansion pipes...its not like the above pictures, ...
