Re: GT186 --EX box any one running one

A few years back I ran a tino ancilotti on a gt186 and it was dire. When I changed to a bgm v3, it transformed it. I know that doesn't directly answer your question, but they are both 48mm headers, so I'd expect similar results. The ex-box has a larger tailpipe so will lose a tiny bit of bottom end ...

Re: What ever happened to.......

In my opinion, Dan's new job was just coincidence. Facebook seems to be the main discussion forum now, but personally, I f&*King hate it; it's full of pointless comments and baseless opinions. Like you, I find it sad that what was a very useful and interesting forum is little more than somewhere...

Re: Tips on rear brake cable

Worth checking if the lever on the engine is actually on the correct spline. I was cursing one of the qr cables recently that was too long when I realised I'd actually fitted the lever one spline too far forward. Dope.

I'm glad I always take a few extra looks before complaining these days.

Re: Rear Foot Brake Stub Circlip

I cut the post off and used a brake shoe pivot. Like new and easy to replace should I need to.

Re: Legshield spare wheel carrier

I fitted the type that doesn't hook over on a LI series 3 in 2015 and it's still going strong. I'm always worried that the hooks will damage the top of the legshields, although I've never seen them do that, so it's probably a bit daft of me. I guess the conclusion here is that they're both pretty go...

Re: can this work ???

That's a very interesting barrel photo as it is thought provoking and obviously delivers enough of a result to have made it beyond the drawing board. I remember seeing one that scotty did a few years ago which was similar. I think it was based on a steel lined ts1 for one of the wwsc lads. Although...

Re: Cutdown views

Feeling pretty pleased today. Managed to get a S2 toolbox in good nick, dent free complete with rubber. Sourced here in Australia (albeit in the Eastern States). Also managed to pick up a decent fuel tank, cleaned and dent free. The vision is starting to come together now and I'm keeping a good num...
