Re: BGM dampers question

These look even better and a good price http://www.mitolambretta.com/product_info.php?cPath=46&products_id=201 but referring to a nice telephone conversation with mito yesterday, they stopped these. they said there were quality issues with these. and they are stocking our bgm ones instead for t...

Re: bgm test bike for EuroLambretta 2012

hi joey! it runs perfect now and never misses a beat. we brought it to the IOW and to Mersea Island for testing the bgm and MB parts that went into the project. the feedback was good. maybe anyone who ridden it there, likes to comment about it!? at the euro it was running very poor. we hadn't it fin...

Re: MB Race Tour cylinder kit opinions

hello, after other dealers commented I hope it is only fair that I do the same. there is no question, what our recommandation is. wait untill the bgm MRB RT kits are ready. these are easy plug & play kits with Mark's tuning expereience for decades now. we have fitted three 225cc versions and thr...

Lambretta TV 175 Series 1 engine

Hello,

Maybe someone can help: There was a nice report of overhauling a TV Series 1 engine, but I can't find it anymore.

Any help for advising me to detailed pictures would be highly appreciated!

Cheers Philipp

Re: BGM 30mm / Imola set up advice / tips

@corrado: the jjk is fine for a start with the jl3 me thinks.

@gadgetman: on what setup?

the power jet does work if the engine sucks hard enough. found it working on the TS1, but on not very high revving bikes it hadn't an effect.

Re: BGM 30mm / Imola set up advice / tips

Hi Corrado! Depends very much on the exhaust, for a start I would use the JJK. And see if you can get it rich enough to jet it down afterwards. This is the needle chart for the bgm needle set: Taper L1 (top groove to begin of taper) mm Diameter (above taper) mm HKJ 2°45' 25,85 2,445 HLJ 2°45' 27,2...

Re: BGM 30mm / Imola set up advice / tips

Hi Peter!

Sure, they come with 140 main jet, 42 idle jet and a needle that is too rich for the use on a geared scooter.

Hope this helps!?

Cheers,

Re: BGM 30mm / Imola set up advice / tips

@10 inch Terror: good to hear that you like the neat PWK carb. these are some proven setups for the PWK range: For the Lambretta the JJK needle should be fine for a start. JJL and JJM are used as well on setups on the Lambretta. The pilot seems to be between 45-50. 130-140 seems fine for Stage4 , Ho...

Re: new bgm products

Did you ever get around to sorting one out for a GP back light..?? A few of us have bastardised to fit our GP lights just wondered if there were any plans for a mass produced GP one ? we are always open to suggestions and we will look into this for sure. but most GP rear lights can be easily modifi...
