Italy 2017

Can some one explain why there is a second Lambretta meet two weeks before the Euro Lambretta meet in Italy. Surely this is just going to split the attendance? Seems like someone is just jumping on the bandwagon and spoiling the Euro for the punters!

Re: headlight reflector replacement

Can you get the reflector re coated, silvered chromed or whatever the coating is? I have an orig glass on my GP and would not want to replace with a remade, had one before from reputable source and one of lugs broke immediately!

Re: Carb clearance advise

if the 90 degree rubber is pushed in by the panel a little it neednt cause a running problem as long as it doesnt collapse and choke the carbs bellmouth ,,,to prevent this an old silicone tube or grease tube fits perfectly and can be cut to shape and slid into the rubber to retain an acceptable sha...

Re: Carb clearance advise

Wicked pics minority many thanks for taking the time to post them. I will measure my delly and then compare the dimension to the pwk. Interesting that you seem to use the bend as coaster describe. Re: Carb clearance advise

Good replies holty and coaster many thanks. I am nervous about shortening card stub as there is lip for the atomic rubber to grip to. Coaster it would certainly help me understand if you could take a couple of pics. I didn't mention in the original post that a foam filter straight onto carb bell mou...

Carb clearance advise

I am struggling for clearance under panel with 28mm dellorto phbh on a breath sweet filter. The panel squashes the rubber u bend. There doesn't seem to be any change in performance if I take panel off and relieve the pressure from u bend but it is seriously squashed out of shape. I have an atomic sh...

Re: Best coating for new exhaust?

I had my BGM clubman Cermakromed by Camcoat couple of years back, very pleased and holding out well as you would expect, will almost certainly last longer than the exhaust itself! Turn around was around 2 weeks iirc. I did have a small delay when I noticed that the manifold wasn't returned with the...

Re: Best coating for new exhaust?

I called Camcoat today and the cost for ceramic outside is £133 including VAT & post I asked what internal coating benefits are and it is corrosion prevention and interestingly insulation, which I suppose is to stop you burning your leg I think I am going for it as I know it's a lot of dosh, but...
