shouldn't really happen on a new carb (jettex) but.

check if the plastic float is moving properly, they have a tendency to rub on the side of the bowl or jam on the swivel pin.

when you put the kick-start/outer casing on the main engine casing it seems you are somehow depressing the clutch. Which would be the same if you put it in gear and pushed it (still no piston travel). sounds like the clutch cable has been over-adjusted or the clutch basket is sitting too high or the...

put a knackered rim on it, screw it to the garden wall, wrap yer hose-pipe round it. Buy a new one whey job done.

get rid of that stand at least, belongs to sumat else lol. proper dampers tho. I had a seat cover like that too on a Jet. you like mats I see. If it was mine I'd change headset/mudguard/horncast to Jet stylee. Russ, give us a hint on plans for engine (spec) pls. oh is matt black an option haha.
