Re: boggy !
How big a ram-air was it? I used to run my Imola open mouthed and it was a little rich, I put a big ram-air on expecting it to be even richer and discovered it was actually leaner with the filter (must be something to do with airflow I guess). I like to be on the rich side so just dropped my oil rat...

If you specced it then there can't be any gripes, have you actually checked what they put in though? I've heard many instances where what was requested wasn't actually put in...peter357bikes wrote:

Re: Reliable commuter.
I'd go along with that, my lad has a GP but needed to commute 25 miles a day, we bought an old T5 for the daily commute (which is also not bad from a fun point of view) and the GP is reserved for weekends or when/if the T5 breaks down.

Re: Running in Imola
I cant help you on that one, I have no idea what mine puts out, I'd be suprised if it was as much as 19 though (which is pretty decent with no work on it). On my list of things to do is to get my jetting sorted at JB's so I guess I'll find out then, all I can say is that it is great to ride, loads o...

Re: Running in Imola
Sorry, forgot to say that I did run it slightly rich (and still do but not as much).coaster wrote:200 miles should be plenty but I'd be inclined to be cautious until you get a feel for how it is set up. Do some plug chops at different speeds to make sue you aren't running weak,
