Re: big voltage output
Almost certain they are only 12v Ducati cdi's. Try not to keep thinking coil when you mean Cdi (if you mean cdi!!) If you have a Ducati CDI you'll still need a coil. Trace the spark plug lead back from the spark plug. The thing it goes into first is the HT coil. From there it heads to your blue duca...

Re: big voltage output
No, afraid not. I'll throw you the basics but you may know some of this. Your stator plate is fixed. You have a flywheel spinning around this. This movement induces a voltage from the coils on your stator plate. Different stator different amount of coils, but generally you have one or two for the li...

Re: Rally 180-electronic ignition/12v dc conversion
Jeff, Like Mutley says, the stator plate needs to be recessed a little on the face that sits into the engine but both the SIP one and the Beedspeed versions come with that already done. Just offer it up first to see it doesnt clash. Theres not much clearance there. Im pretty sure your switches will ...

Re: Rally 180-electronic ignition/12v dc conversion
Ive just done this on a 76 Rally Jeff and it depends on what way you go and how precious you are to retaining the Femsa ignition. If you are then you can get a converter unit for it but do read the reviews(hmmm), and do look at the price! Your better off IMO (if your not keeping it totally original)...

Problem installing a Maz crank-Rally200
Hello all, got my crank inserter through today. Trying to swap a Femsa crank for a PX200 Mazzuchelli crank into a Rally engine. New bearing installed as it should be. Clutch side oil seal in. All good. Come into problems pulling in the Mazz crank. Its hitting the rotary pads either side when you rot...

Re: Rally
No real answers here chap but I had exactly the same problem about a month ago (on a Rally too). I had a fully drilled centre and still the b@stard wouldnt slide out! I found the best way was to try and get my pinky down the tube and try and apply some pressure from that way. Maybe some snipe nose p...

Re: 180 Kits. Pinasco or DR?
Hey Bigmuff, I put one on my 2 port 1965 150 Sprint 18months ago and it was a decision well made. All went together pretty smoothly and was sooo much cheaper than the Nicasil route. Everything looked well made and I couldnt read too many bad words about Pinasco when I was i was in your position. I h...
