Standard Petrol Tap Flow Rate?

What's an acceptable amount of fuel to flow from a standard tap, in 1 minute, for a 20mm carb on standard 150 engine??

Maybe someone, whose scoot runs fine, would test this for me?

Thanks :-)

Re: Fooked Rimini 5 speed.

I doubt Eddie15b really wants to just keep it in the polystyrene box after forking out so much on it, but agreed it would definitely then last forever if he did! :-)

Anyway, I still think he should go back to Rimini and ask them to comment on his photo!

Re: Needle or Atomiser ?

Hi Tom... good to see your name in the top 3 for Scootering race reports... spot on :) My concern is that we are talking very small, very accurate modifications needed and I'd rather pay someone to get it right/accurate during manufacture, rather than me bugger it up! Adam Thanks Adam and yep fair ...

Re: dellorto vhsb atomisers

As Adam suggested, I'd also double check you've got correct pilot/idle jet fitted for your setup. Also, make sure float is shutting off correctly, and choke isn't (slightly) sticking on!

Is your atomiser/needle brand new, as they can wear out quickly!

Stator Plate problem

I replaced my Varitronic stator - after approx. 3 thousand miles - despite it giving good readings, and that did the trick. Have you strobed yours, as mine as jumping about all over the place - once you gave it some revs - steady at tickover and max revs - but new stator cured this. Other than that,...

Re: Stator Plate problem

Hi,

I know this was a while ago, but just wondered if you worked out what the problem was, as I have a very similar problem with the Varitronic on my Super Monza :(

I'll try another stator plate, but good to know if there was anything else causing the symptons you mentioned??

Cheers :)
