locktight the studs in place, then use m7 nyloc nuts ( 6 - 7 mm high) with the nylon side going on first , put onto the studs and a slight tap to start the thread, they should have a small round section on that end that fits nicely into the end plate , check the nuts where the chain runs and if need...

im currently building a competition lambretta sprinter and would like some veiws on making a air or electric solenoid gear shifter that would be able to move the 5 places back and forward to cover the lambretta gearbox , many sprinting bikes already use air shifters but these only move the one click...

the jl4 is the race pipe with power rev range at top end. also if its one of the older jl4s it splits around the down pipe as made from thinner steel. sounds like you got info from the old sip catalogue which is muddled up.

i use the jl4 franspeed ( which has the better spread of power over the standard jl4) on my street class sprinter with rapido barrel , excellent pipe will be getting a dyno run done very soon
