Having just aquired a standard (apart from electronic) series 3 TV175 i was looking forward to sampling the "turbine like smoothness", hmm, sent hands buzzing in no time at all. I was talking to another s3tv owner and he said his was the same, were the reviews of the time b/s or do we have...

exhaust de-coke
ive just bought a tv175 with an original exhaust, the bike doesnt like to rev and ive decided the exhaust needs de-coking, what is the best method, ive been told caustic soda will attack mild steel as happily as coke and i dont want to damage the exhaust

Re: WTF evaporating oil ?
my gp would stand all winter without so much as a drop on the floor but a 250 mile thrash was enough to loose half the chaincase capacity, ive now fitted a 1mm thick chaincase gasket as it seemed that the chaincase seal was fine when cold but a combination of thinner (hot) oil and heat expanding the...

Re: Series 1 Project 59 Frame Breather
ive also got a 59 framebreather thats frame numbers are outside the range, ive also got a roadtest for a 59 125 series 1 that is clearly a framebreather (the rectangular box type, not the supposedly later round filter type), my theory is that with sales through the roof innocenti either used up obsol...
