Re: Running up that hill!

Hiya, a useful and easy update for a PX125 engine is a 150cc top end, straightforward to fit , uses the same exhaust and carb. Just needs a up-jet carburettor wise and maybe adjust the stator plate timing. It provides a very useful increase in torque and a few extra MPH'S . ;) all the best Paul Tha...

worn out top end? piston to bore clearance way out? bad rebore? have you pulled the chain cover off to check to see if anything is loose, slack chain etc . Might be worth a view. Paul

Re: Standard pipe thoughts

Be interested to see how you get on with your chopping experiments ;) I'm a big fan of the standard pipe and think many people feel they have to fit a clubman or bigger as a matter of course when they could probably get by ( with a few internal mods) with the standard plumbing ;)

just removed the clubman exhaust ( casa Anncilotti) and fitted a deadstock standard pipe to my 1970 Gp150 and its made no difference at all to top speed. Gone back to 118 main jet in 22 dellorto- does about 52/53 on flat with GPS .digital speedo . feels like better torque from low revs with standar...

Re: Thats it! End of an Era.

Finally called it a day. Started in April 1968 and finished in April 2021. Sold the last scooter and all the spares. Had a great time and made many memories- thanks to everyone I've met along the way. Take care and ride safe. Chris Cheers Chris, its been nice chatting to you on here over the years ...
