Re: PHBH carb leak
Sorry Paul I have no idea what that is. I wouldn’t know where to start looking for it. Perhaps I should let someone with some knowledge have a look at it for me.

Re: PHBH carb leak
I was wrong. The leak is still there but not as bad. I have tightened the jet holder bolt as much as I dare. I have never done anything with carbs before so not familiar with issues or assembly. When I removed the bowl I could not see the needle so not sure of the condition. Is there anyway of testi...

Trouble starting
Almost finished the resto and have had the scooter running a couple of times. I have had problems with starting though. When kicking it over it is as if there is no spark. Took the cap off the plug and refitted and it started. Same again today but removing plug cap made no difference. Had a look at ...

Exhaust blowing
I ran the scooter for five mins today to check the electrics and as the rear runner boards aren’t fitted yet I noticed a small amount of smoke blowing out of the joint of the U shaped pipe and the box. It’s a Ancellotti type exhaust. Should the joint be sealed and no leaks? I have tightened the clam...

Re: Rear brake light
Brake light issue sorted. The two coonectors to the switch had pulled out at some point. Had to replace one of the connection bullets but all sorted.

S3 Rear runner boards
When I bought the scooter each of the rear runners had a bolt through the back end securing them to the doglegs which had new holes drilled in them. I knew that this would probably be an area I would have issues with when rebuilding but I am not too fussed about drilling and bolting again. My issue ...

Re: Rear brake light
I actually replaced the one Paul has shown with the BGM LED unit. Hopefully it is just the switch and not as mentioned earlier the resistor issue. These parts aren't cheap and I have had to replace enough crap parts that were fitted by the person who had a go at restoring it before I bought it. So I...

Re: Rear brake light
I have fitted an MB LED rear light unit so not the bulb. The light is working with the head light just not when the pedal is pressed. I will have a check on your suggestion Garry tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for the quick replies all.
