1964 Li series 3 side panels

Just had a look over a 1964 Li125 series 3. It has the chrome ring and the owner has LCGB date validation certificate. I noticed that it had clip on side panels. No handles at the rear of them. It was restored a couple of years ago. I just wondered whether this is something to be suspicious of? I ha...

Italian GP150 1971

Can anybody offer any advice on the Lambretta GP150. I have been looking for an Italian Series 3 Li150 (preferably with upgraded engine) and have come across an Innocenti original UK 1971 GP150 with a 175cc upgrade, AF Fresco exhaust, MB 25mm Dellorto carb and Sebac shocks. Its done just under 12,00...

Re: Li 125 Power

It is fairly obvious to me now that a 125cc is not going to be for me but with engine upgrades may be the way to go. Re: Li 125 Power

I did not mean to imply I wanted a modern scooter, I merely asked if anybody knew anything about them. However, I would certainly not rule one out. I also would not want to be associated with anyone who made a judgment on the age of my scooter. I would not be pushed into buying something just to fit...

Re: Li 125 Power

Thanks for all the responses. Much appreciated. To respond to some of the questions and comments: I would prefer an Italian series 3 or failing that then a Spanish. I do not want to tinker too much with it so would like something that has had a good restoration job and is ready to go. I am not going...

Li 125 Power

I'm looking to buy a Lammy (budget approx £4K). Not ridden a scooter for over 30 years and that was a Vespa PX125. I am looking for some advice about what to go for. I am 6' 2", 16 stone, it will need to cope with 2 up as the missus will be on the back occassionally. Will be used for short run ...
