old scooter
I bought this 10 years ago. Done nothing with it. Was sprayed over and bits welded by someone in Spain during its life. Not sure what to do with it.

Re: lifespan of powder coat?
The scooter was done by a very reputable firm/guy. I haven't mentioned him as I am not being critical of him. He post on the lcgb site maybe on here as well. I can only presume the prepping was correct and would believe it was. I have been a big advocate of powder coat but now am having second thoug...

Re: lifespan of powder coat?
Yeah I not happy with it now.
Keep looking at my scooter and am not in love with it at the moment.
It has really got me down. I am unsure what's happening under the coating. Was thinking of either cleaning then waxing or Totally stripping and rebuild.

lifespan of powder coat?
I had a series 3 restored 10 years ago by a very well know restorer.( This isn't a criticism of him or his work). Due to various life issues the scooter has been stored in my mates dry but cold garage for 4 years. I have recently been able to move it to where I live. Pissed off is an understatement ...

Re: PX forks into series 2
The reason I asked the question about PX forks into a series 2 is due to the disc brake. Piaggio must have developed a disc brake for the p range that works efficiently. The caliper and disc I presume are specific for the wheel size. Same size as lambrettas. I am wondering will they work on lambrett...

Re: outboard disc kit from beedy
Hi I have just been reading this post. I am considering buying a disc conversion. Did the beedspeed set up work. Are you happy with it. Is it worth buying. I have been on the lcgb site reading and from what I can see the disc system was designed for a bigger wheel, producing too much power meaning t...

Re: PX forks into series 2
Yes I have seen that. That's a gp frame they are slightly shorter on the steering column aren't they.

PX forks into series 2
I have seen various vespas with lambretta forks.
Is it possible to put vespa disc forks into a series two lambretta.
