Re: Cleaning seizing marks
TV175 barrel, Suzuki piston. 22 Jetex, standard Exhaust. It didn’t lock up, like I say, it’s running okay now but just wondered if any high spots would be smoothed out during the running in period. In the past, I used to strip it down but with more knowledge out there now perhaps we could avoid that...

Cleaning seizing marks
Yesterday I had a run out and the scoot nipped up twice but I pulled the clutch in to save a lock up. Today, I upjetted and did the same run and all was well. I used to always clean off the ‘high spots’ from the piston and barrel but any new info out there now? Could the chrome rings do the job? It’...

60x115 Crank Kit Options
Trying to run a Suzuki 185 piston on a TV175 barrel, it’s not working out too well.
Any options out there for that crank set up? Thinking Mugello 185 or BGM etc, don’t fancy an RB20

Re: 5 Gears for 500 Quid
I was in Rayspeed today and they have sold 40 sets since last Tuesday when they were available. Thoroughly tested and good for standard to tuned motors. Ben has written some comprehensive instructions. I’m tempted myself but run a reasonable close, late Pacemaker box.

How Many CC’s
Suzuki 185 (64mm) piston and a 115x60 crank. What would the CC’s be?

Re: Light Flywheel?
Thanks Drunkmonkey,
I just thought lighter the better and it would increase revs no matter what. Looks like there’s more science behind it.

Light Flywheel?
So it’s a close to standard motor and was wondering if a lighter flywheel might get me a slightly improved top end? At the minute I have a SIL one on but thinking of the AF Rayspeed lighter one.

Re: Casa ssr265
Now ‘heavily discounted’ to £2220. This is for the casing, top end and crank. Unsure if this is good value or not. I assume regular other good quality parts will fit?
