Check it's located right at both ends, in particular on the hub, with the olive grabbing the outer in the right place, and keeping the cable in the hub. I've an R1 shock on my Muggy which measures 30cms. Just seen an e-bay ad for an R6 saying it's 31cms.

Anyone know whether they are all longer?

Agreed, the MB ones seem to be made of a good quality, and push in easily with the use of a vice

I've just bought the carb plus various jets, needles, throttle cable, cable choke adjuster from Martin (Corrado) on this site. A decent price too. I know MB do the 25PHBL manifold that will fit and, I presume, the elbow is just a standard GP one.
