No it isn’t. Excessive ring wear opens up the gap which wHere the peg sits. Consequently the ring can now tap at the peg hundreds of times a second which can loosen the peg until……….. :o

Am I reading this correctly?
The original rings will probably wear out within a 1000 miles but their replacements will last for many 1000's?

You spend 1100 a quid a month on food? You may need more than 5 speeds. not quite :D we do have 5 kids !!!! and a labrador, but if we eat smart price beans every day for a month that will save alot and then i can find the rest by selling a kidney :lol: And you'd save on the gas bill........ :lol: SF

okay thats the engine sorted what about the paint?
Assuming he actually pulls off the WC its got to be Danny Kent/LeoPard turquoise! 8-) otherwise it would have to be KTM orange with RED Bull overtones. :(
