David, is your adapter ring flat and require bending in all sorts of directions before fitting? My SX one was, and I have to say its not the easiest thing to manipulate without making a pigs ear and completely wrecking the ring. I am afraid that the carb probably needs resetting , although on paper they should work out the same, there will always be minuscule differences in engine build affecting fuel mix. I suggest to try the second set up with no filter to see if you can get it to rev out clean, if not try a smaller main...

This one's been bugging me for a while.. i have 2 "regular use" scooters... 1 ... my 150 special.... 186 mugello (V1) 28 phbh carb, ancillotti zorst, remote filter runs sweet as a nut, starts 1/2nd kick... 2...... GP125 186 mugello (V4) same carb (jetted the same as the 150), same zorst......
