I have the 62/110 and the finish on them is absolutely stunning, a very well made crank.
During the weekend just gone I've got the crankcases machined for the trench required for the larger stroke, just 1mm needed in my situation.
I took some pictures if there's any interest.

Re: V55/5 Insurance question
If I remember correctly you submit the tax payment with the v55 or mark as historic vehicle if applicable.

Worth noting that that spray ho6es gummy when hot so it may be worth trying to cure it a heat gun or even a hairdryer otherwise you'll pick up a lot of stuff on it if out riding.

Re: battery
Screwfix sell something very similar, i've got one in my vespa smallframe side bubble which powers the sip speedo. I think it was about 12 quid plus a fiver for an inline fuse holder from Halfords. Charged from a vedspatronic and all good do far.

Re: My Li150 S2
Yes, all the electrics are standard 6v points. I was quite amazed they still worked, I've only replaced the HT lead, cap & plug and the spark is very good. I'm using the original loom but without a battery so have put a capacitor in it's place.

The articles where run Oct, Nov and Dec 1994. Like I said, I've got them scanned in PDF format but I guess I'd be reproducing them 'without permission' if sharing publicly but perhaps I can share them individually on request? Not sure of the copyright issues on something over 20 years old.

Re: Cleaning up a P2 barrel
Many years ago Sticky did an article in Scootering about adjusting P200 barrels & I tried it on one I had at the time and it transformed it in to something that would easily sit at 70mph with more in reserve. Essentially you bolt down the barrel without the head on and check how much the piston ...
