To me the silver one looks like a T5 air screw, (1.5mm tip), the rally/P200 air screws have slightly thinner 1mm tip ...............................I think
I had exactly the same problem with unruly tickover until I realised the difference

Re: Black number plates
I've had a black plate on my 76 Rally since I acquired it 14 years ago, never been pulled once over it . I reckon plod have the same issues as joe publique, all scooters are old & the rider MUST be a mod ...... so no need to waste time on paperwork .

Re: head gasket
Not usually , just a smear of gasket blue after you have flattened the head by using fine sand paper with a little WD on it and a sheet of glass and work the head round in a figure of eight motion...clean off , gasket blue on , then torque the head bolts a little at a time up to the correct setting(...

Re: T5 motor fitment
Fitted one of those to the rear brake on Dox's scooter Ada ....Fits ok but the small clamping bolt is made of cheese, we had to bodge a nipple on as well ( to be sure) when bolt head sheard off ....might pay to find your own bolt to fit .soulboy wrote:good idea that is wack is it any good
