Re: Series 3 Li with SR185............

I found that for performance versus economy the 25mm turned out tops, but it depends what you want really. See little point in fitting a 28mm dellorto to a standad 185 kit with a...

Re: Reet

Thats probably a damn good reason why the Lambretta has remained so popular...theres so much fiddle factor and you can keep trying and swapping to see what works the best. Mike (soulsurfer) dyno'd his TS1 with both a 30 and 35 Mikuni and found the 30 was not only more fuel efficient but gave a fract...

Also with the above in mind, why you choosing a race reed valve system ....the s...

Re: Dead RB kit

possibly think about getting the exhaust port welded up to create a single one ala TS1, sourcing a decent piston alternative, then getting it replated here in the UK? Should be well on the way toa reliable kit then

Re: Scootertechniques enduro racer - Take 2

Re: B G M stator falling to bits

I've also seen replacement pick-ups that are better than the ones fitted upto now. That said theres nowt wrong with the older ones, just that they've improved on them further.

Re: Fans /airflow / techies wanted

Carlos fandago could well have a point and 156D may well have just proved it with his picture. In fact if you look at the red fan on the right thats even got angled fins too, just not as extreme as the newer version on the left. Again i feel it could be a case of technology overtaking the original d...
