Re: Using a Timing gun/light

I threw all of my old shitty timing guns and bought one of these. It’s got an internal battery so no need to look for a supply, and no supply leads to get tangled. Works first time, every time... Intake length calculator

Hi, the "Optimum Intake Runner Prediction" software stickied in this section https://www.scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8 says that I'd need an 18" inlet tract to achieve harmonics within a usable rev band (3800-7900) Seems excessive unless I'm reading it wrong, or may...

Re: Registration

You just need to include a “letter of explanation” explaining why the non-UK registration document or certificate isn’t available (doesn’t have to be an essay; just needs to explain why you haven’t got it so they can tick their box) It’s worth titling the letter “letter of explanation” and refer out...

Re: Low tax car, van mpv that can carry a scooter.

Thanks Tony, do they seats come out easily, clips or bolts? Is insurance and tax cheap on these? The rear seats come out individually and they’re fitted in with a latch so very quick to put them in/out leaving a completely flat load area. I pay £50/month on insurance but my NCD is on something else...

Fiat Multipla

Questionable looks but cheap as chips with a 3+3 layout. My GP goes straight in with the back seats out.

Re: carb help please

Check the float height if you haven’t already as quick and zero cost.

If it’s wrong, once corrected, check the needle height and main jet size as these might have been adjusted to compensate.
