Re: Rectifier/regulator
Yes, they do but we have a single manufacturer item, which has gone up by 25% in the last year. If either the supplier runs into trouble/stops making them/has a manufacturing issue then there isn't an alternative, or we end up at the mercy of a load of back street dodgy dealers. To give you an idea ...

Re: Rectifier/regulator
I have trawled the Internet looking for ratings for the motorcycle regulator/rectifiers but there is a significant lack of information on nearly all of them, including the Japanese motorcycle manufacturers replacement parts. So I' m going to take a couple, rig up a test system with a 100w (55w high ...

Re: Rectifier/regulator
I think these are the connectors https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=4pin+6.3mm+motorcycle+connector&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-gb&client=safari#imgrc=xy-0RXCPlz-V2M%3A I agree They will neaten it up nicely. There are lots of reasonably priced regulator rectifiers around but can't find po...

Re: Rectifier/regulator
Addng a zener clamp would work but its a bit of a backward step. I was really looking for an alternative to the wassel.
There seems to be plenty regulator/rectifiers knocking about but no specs or power ratings.

Rectifier/regulator
I'm looking for a rectifier/regulator for my Lambretta DC conversion,
Is anyone using anything other than a wassel?
The SWISS 712 looks promising?

Re: Big Sam
What's the problem he hasnt broken any laws, ripped of the British people or goverment.
It's not like he is aggressively avoiding paying UK corporation tax or misleading the public to get votes ( 3 mil a day for the NHS).
Give him his job back, he's just acting like a Banker/Politician

Re: Px125/150 upgrade.
Cheers for the info guys, I now have a basic set up. The reason I picked the 24g carb is its was designed for a higher revving engine, but I'm really only at the start point and have no experience of vespa carbs. I'm trying to weigh up the hassle/cost to power benefit of a 60mm crank gives over a st...

Re: Burning plugs
A mate of mine was cooking plugs, they would last two stints, then need changing. He cured it by replacing the suppressor cap. Which was a surprise and relief to all of us. An aside is there some statistical evidence that BGM stators are crap? How many sold, how many fail, whats the breakdown of fai...
