Would think a) common sense from a database point of view, and b) Got to be a good thing if a scrote is riding/ found in possession of a stolen scoot and said doesnt know name of owner or even does and then a photo comes up and..... its not him.

My point is that to get really meaningful results you'd need to do the thermocouple tests when riding. On drilling holes, I wouldn't have thought you'd benefit any as you still have to grind/ cut weld.S

just use a 115mm angle grinder and a couple of 1mm slitting discs. cut through the welds only, go slow, and make sure disc is ALWAYS dragging not pushing away from you. Go slow and little at a time and you'll see when you cut the weld without touching the frame. take extra time and use dremmell disc...
