Matt grey
Has anyone on here ever painted a Lambretta matt grey and have any photos they can post. I´m doing a series 2 at the moment and was wondering what colours go well with battleship grey.

Mugello 192
Hi all, A few weeks ago I went to Cam Lam to buy the Mugello 192 kit for my small block, I intend to fit a Mecure 60mm crank (That I already own) and so arriving at Cam Lam was disapointed to learn they had no 192 in stock and could only sell me 186. Having the cash in my pocket and not wanting to l...

Re: Building a crank D.I.Y
To be honest I have a failrly good machinist near to me but as I say do I just turn up with a crank and a rod and say there you go mate it´s a straight fit or is there more involved. What about the spacers that go either side, doesn't the Lambretta rod use a 22´9 cm pin or do you use the RD350 pin...

Building a crank D.I.Y
I would presume that to build a crank D.I.Y there is a bit more involved than to take an old GP crank and a RD350 conrod to the local expert and to ask for the conrod to be swoped over. Can anyone explain what else is involved, are there any special parts that need to be obtained like the pin or the...

Yamaha R1 rear shock

Secondly does anyone here run the R1 shock and can recommend or disuade it. Thanks Steve (went to the beach this mo...

Brake Shoes
Hi All
I was thinking of fitting GP brake shoes on to my Jet. Is the pivot pin the same size on both bikes or would I have to change them. I know you have to change the cam, I just don´t want to strip everything off then find they don´t fit
cheers all

Re: Timing problems
Decided to try the fag paper trick and it seems to have made a difference, also the points were a bit far apart so now I have it nearly spot on. Thanks to everyone

Whats the difference ?
I have about 6 6v points systems and a Varitronic, so what I want to ask is what is the difference between a standard 6v points flywheel and a 12v electronic flywheel ( as i have never seen one in real life).
Thanks
