andycap, to get the best out of any topend tune, you need to do the bottom end and at best on a standard barrel tune get 14bhp, for a few quid more kit it, pound for pound there's no comparison between a kitted tune and standard tune...

i run a banded 4 plate/cosa clutch, cork plates, turrets filed to 22mm and malossi springs and it's really nice on the lever MCH!!!

thanx for you replies lads! question was for a bit of background knowledge as to were the jetting is on these 172's, as one of the lads has a problem when coming off throttle and stopping "it's cutting out"...i got him home with a bit of side of the road tinkering with carb, but carb ticko...

Ok gadge! Always easier for peeps to have the big picture of spec! Soundz a good road going tune and figures, i'd seriously have it on 3% if ye are'nt already, maybe ye were going to fast to early on ye rings hence ye concern about temp, bare in mind ye barrel is cast so it will run hot, speak to al...
